University Partnership Program
University Partnership Program (UPP)
In Fall 2025, the Stanford Management Science and Engineering (MS&E) Department's Pathways to Research and Opportunity (PRO) Committee will offer mentorship opportunities to undergraduate students attending San José State University through the University Partnership Program.
MS&E Department
Stanford MS&E is an interdisciplinary field that applies mathematical and computational methods to entrepreneurship, business, technology, and beyond. Faculty in the MS&E department work at the intersection of engineering, business, and public policy.
Pathways to Research and Opportunity (PRO)
MS&E PRO is committed to supporting students from all backgrounds and helping them explore pathways to graduate studies, research, and professional growth.
Program Mission
The mission of the University Partnership Program is to help rising undergraduate juniors and seniors at partner institutions, particularly those in STEM disciplines, gain exposure to graduate studies, research, and the admissions process for MS&E and MS&E-related fields (e.g., business, engineering, economics, statistics, etc.).
